Mike is a lifelong Hudson Valley resident, who also grew up and lives in Red Hook, NY. He graduated from Red Hook High School, and was a member of the Red Hook/Rhinebeck Varsity Wrestling team while attending. He went on to obtain an Associates Degree from Dutchess Community College. Before starting his State Farm career, he worked in the mental health field for 11 years. Prior to the opening of the agency Mike had close to 5 years of prior State Farm experience helping families in the Hudson Valley.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, 14 year old rescue dog and 2 year old yellow lab named Olaf who is often found in the office. He is an avid fan of Star Wars, Hockey and Comic Books. Currently, he serves as an active coach in both Saugerties Youth Hockey and Red Hook Soccer, a member of the Red Hook Chamber of Commerce, and is on the Board of Directors for Saugerties Youth Hockey and Hudson Valley Coaches Against Cancer. When not at the office, coaching, or spending time with his family, he can be found on the ice playing in adult hockey leagues in Saugerties, Poughkeepsie and Newburgh.
